CrossCurrent Communications was hired to provide PR and media relations for a statewide initiative to add gender identity to NH’s nondiscrimination law. An intensive multi-year campaign was ultimately successful as the bill passed the Republican controlled NH Legislature and was signed by Republican Governor Chris Sununu.
CCC provided communications expertise, worked collaboratively with the FFAA team, served as the media contact and liaison, worked closely with partner organizations on earned media opportunities, developed concise and compelling talking points, helped plan and stage multiple press events and rallies, edited letters to the editor, edited speeches, provided photography and videography for digital, provided media training for spokespeople, facilitated editorial board meetings, met with legislators and constituents and was able to secure tremendous positive media coverage, which was instrumental in getting the measure passed.

“Barbara was a huge asset to our work and I am so grateful we retained her services. She has a keen eye for detail, never missing a beat in a fast-paced environment. Her extensive knowledge of the press industry and the New England media market rendered her contributions to our campaign strategy invaluable. Barbara’s personal passion and optimistic spirit make her a highly effective member of any team, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
